I don't have a PayPal account, how do I make a purchase?
PayPal no longer requires you to have an account before making a purchase. They
now accept all major credit cards. If you do have a PayPal account, and don't want
to use it, there is an additional step. Just below the PayPal login is a link "Don't have
a PayPal account? click here" this will take you to a secure page to make your purchase
using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express without signing up for an account.
Do I send you my controller for installation?
No, these skins are quite easy to install, just take your time and follow the instructions.
Aren't these the same as the stickers that came with my SG?
No, the stickers that came with the controller are a silk screened paper product
with a temporary adhesive. Our skins are a high quality printable vinyl backed
with a permanent adhesive, and photo quality artwork.
Why don't the fret board skins include pieces for around the fret buttons?
We definitely looked at that, but the possibility of button interference and the
difficulty of installing them made the decision a no brainer. The last thing we wanted
was to make a product that would hurt the performance of your SG.
Are your decals permanent or can you remove them later?
We looked at using a removable type vinyl, but was unhappy with the way it moved around
due to your wrist resting on the graphic. After only a couple of times playing, the graphic
had moved almost a ¼ inch. The skins have been play tested by several people since February
without any signs of movement or discoloration (rubbing through).
Will it leave any stickiness on my guitar if I take it off?
They are permanent so they do take more work to remove, but not much.
Peal the pieces off slowly, starting at one corner, this will remove most of the adhesive
with the decal. This adhesive is easily removed with either Goo Gone or Goof Off, both
work very well.
How do I send in my artwork , and what format does it need to be?
When you order a custom skin, you will be given a email address to send in your artwork.
Artwork can be JPEG's or any Adobe format, and should be at least 300 dpi for a good
quality print. Artwork should be 5.5" x 5.5" for the pick guard, and 2" x 9.5" for the
fret board, please don't send artwork bigger than this to insure your design looks as
you intended.
Can I just send you a picture of what I want it to look like?
While some designs are easy to reproduce, creating the graphics from a photo can be
problematic. If the picture is a close up and large enough to be cropped, and in focus,
it's not a problem. If the picture will have to be blown up or the image is blurry, or
badly lit, then it is only good as a reference photo. Unfortunatly at this time we cannot
justify the time involved to create individual artwork. If we get lots of requests for specific
designs, then we will add them. If your not comfotable using Photoshop, ask your friends
or check the message boards, there are lots of creative people out there who will help you
to create your artwork.
